Stonebridge Tower represents the type of brutalist concrete architecture found throughout the country from the 1960's. It is a fully modular resential tower block, which is possible to make as high as you want by adding storey 'modules' The basic kit comes as a 7 sorey building, with a height of 310mm. Each additional storey adds 42mm to the height.
It is manufactured out of Modelux Creteflex. The actual walls are 1.3mm thick. In addition there is a 0.4mm Creteflex laminate which is fixed over the walling - this allows the building to be strong, have the correct depth walls for the scale, but be 'seamless' - there is no obvious visible join to the elevation faces.
The roof features a window access crane gantry, lift house and access doors.
The kit has a glazing pack available seperately.
This is a straighforward kit to build - however, 3M spray mount should be used to join the concrete laminate to the outer walls.
PVA glue can be used for all other assembly. Printed instructions included.
